Out on a Limb for Nature

20 September, 2018, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

Is it a possum? Is it a koala? No, it’s environmental scientist Reannan Honey up a tree.

You can hear Reannan explain why she climbs trees in her scientific research and how her observations are helping endangered animals in a talk hosted by Sutherland Shire Environment Centre in September. Reannan is completing her PhD in Environmental Science at UTS and is passionate about understanding how, in an environment under threat, we can better help native fauna survive and flourish.

She will be the keynote speaker at Sutherland Shire Environment Centre’s special meeting at 7:30pm on Thursday 20 September at Sutherland Uniting Church in Flora Street, Sutherland (behind Centrelink).

We invite you to join us to hear about Reannan’s important research and some of the other great projects the Environment Centre is running and to share a light supper with us.

Attendance is FREE. Please book to reserve your place to assist with catering.
