Governance

The management of the Sutherland Shire Environment Centre’s activities is the responsibility of its elected Board members.

Our administration

We are an incorporated Association, our activities and operations are guided by a Constitution and governed by a Board elected by members at the Annual General Meeting.

The objectives of the Sutherland Shire Environment Centre are to:

  • act to defend the natural environment of the Sutherland Shire and associated bio-regions by supporting members, local community and community organisations in their efforts to protect and improve their local areas.
  • develop and conduct initiatives to foster, support and encourage a sustainable environment in the Sutherland Shire and its bio-regions.
