Sutherland Shire Environment Centre is an Incorporated Association. Our objectives, activities, and operations are guided by a Constitution and governed by a Board elected by members at the Annual General Meeting.
Many of our members, all volunteers, are actively involved in a range of campaigns and projects to protect, improve and maintain the natural beauty and character of our Shire, its bioregions, surrounding waterways and parks. We support sustainable living and businesses, environmental education, aim to reduce plastics pollution, and work to protect the Shire from environmental threats.
If you’re not currently a member, we encourage you to join, even if you are not able to participate actively.
Your membership supports our advocacy on behalf of the environment, allows us to increase our effectiveness, and helps us to work toward building a more sustainable future.
