Sutherland Shire Environment Centre is an Incorporated Association which was established in 1991 with the support of our patron Bob Walshe OAM. Our objectives, activities, and operations are guided by a Constitution and governed by a Board elected by members at the Annual General Meeting.  

Our Centre depends on volunteers who can build our advocacy on behalf of the environment. Our aim is help protect, improve and maintain the natural beauty and character of our Shire, its bioregions, surrounding waterways and parks. Please see our campaigns and submissions pages for more detail about our position on various issues.

If you’re not currently a member, and you support the values and objectives of the Centre, we encourage you to join.

* please note the PayPal Express payment option can be used for credit card payments.  You can do this as a 'guest' without needing to open a paypal account, but you will need to enter an email address.  After you click through to paypal select the "Pay with a Card" option. 

Payments can also be made by cheque, money order or direct deposit.  Choose the option "I would like to pay my membership subscription by cheque or online funds transfer".  Once you select that option you'll see a "Review your contribution" button.  Payment instructions will be provided after you click through to that link.
