Towra Point Nature Reserve clean up

The Towra Point Nature Reserve clean up has now been rescheduled if anyone is keen and able to assist. This is a restricted and protected area, not normally open to the public, and access is via boat only. Boat transport will be provided, and volunteers will need to meet at the Bonna Point Boat Ramp.

– Please note these dates could change again due to inclement weather.

– The stay at the site will be 4 hours each day. There are no toilets at the clean up site, toilets and water amenities at Bonna Point (Silver Beach).

The online form is to register for one / two, or all three days. You need to be available for the whole 4 hours for the day/days you register (no return until end of shift unless emergency).

SO SHIRE are assisting with the clean up, with help from local National Parks Rangers in accessing the sites. Please forward onto fellow volunteers who may be available to assist. It would be wonderful to have your help.
