Save Yarra Bay Protest Flotilla! Now Cancelled

Save the Bay Coalition (Save Yarra Bay Coalition) is holding an on-water flotilla and beach event calling for the NSW Government to halt plans to build a cruise terminal in Botany Bay. This is such an important area, and is situated close to our Ramsar listed Towra Point aquatic wetlands.

For the flotilla please bring your boat, kayak, canoe, yacht, inflatable, surfboard, dinghy, tinnie, dragon boat, swan boat, boogie board – ANYTHING that is safe! Those that don’t like the water can bring signs, towels, tents and umbrellas ☂ to contribute to a beach installation.

A decision will be made by NSW Cabinet in the middle of the year about whether to let this egregious development proceed. There are only a few months to save the bay. The more people who participate the better 🐟 🌏 💚
