Heathcote Candidate Forum

This coming Monday evening, Sutherland Shire Environment Centre together with the Nature Conservation Council, Total Environment Centre, BirdLife Australia, and POWA – Protect Our Water Alliance are hosting a candidates forum for the Heathcote electorate to discuss issues pertaining to our local environment.

Each group has prepared questions about local environmental issues which will be given to the candidates before the forum.  The plan is for them to speak briefly about their party’s environmental policies, and then respond to the questions. 

This is good a chance to hear from politicians and aspiring politicians about what they plan to do for our local environment.
