Sutherland Shire Environment Centre is an Incorporated Association. Our activities and operations are guided by a Constitution and governed by a Board elected by members at the Annual General Meeting.
Our members and volunteers are actively involved in a wide range of campaigns and projects to protect, improve and maintain the natural beauty and character of our Shire, its bioregions, surrounding waterways and parks. We support sustainable living and businesses, environmental education, aim to reduce plastics pollution, and work to protect the Shire from environmental threats.
If you’re not currently a member, we encourage you to join, even if you are not able to participate actively.
Your membership supports our advocacy on behalf of the environment, will allow us to increase our effectiveness, and to help us to work toward building a more sustainable future.
