Garnaut Climate Change Review. Draft Report - to be released 4 July 2008
The Garnaut Climate Change Review Draft Report will be released on Friday 4 July at the National Press Club in Canberra, and televised live on ABC TV.
Members of the public may attend the lunchtime address and should visit the National Press Club web site for bookings.

Stern Review on the Economics of Climate change
The most comprehensive review ever carried out on the economics of climate change was published on 30 October.
The Review has been carried out by Sir Nicholas Stern, Head of the UK Government Economic Service and former World Bank Chief Economist.
Sir Nicholas said:
"The conclusion of the Review is essentially optimistic. There is still time to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, if we act now and act internationally. Governments, businesses and individuals all need to work together to respond to the challenge. Strong, deliberate policy choices by governments are essential to motivate change.
But the task is urgent. Delaying action, even by a decade or two, will take us into dangerous territory. We must not let this window of opportunity close."
