Volunteers needed

SSEC relies on the generous support of volunteers, members and donors to get its work done, and for funding.

As we have moved to shopfront premises in Boyle Street, Sutherland, we are in need of a volunteer for Wednesday and for standby occasions. If you would like to register for the Volunteer Roster, we would greatly appreciate your services. As a standby volunteer you would be given plenty of notice if needed. You can help SSEC by:

• Assisting in the office
• Liaising with groups involved with SSEC
• Contributing to the newsletter - become a member of the newsletter committee
• Developing your own campaign or becoming involved in one
• Website design and writing
• Researching for information sheets and campaign activities
• Contributing to the Great Kai'mia Way project
• Helping with fundraising activities
• Nominating to become a member of the Management Team

Becoming an SSEC member entitles you:

• to a vote at Annual General Meetings,
• to nominate for a position on the Board,
• to receive our newsletter.

A yearly fee is paid to SSEC, and discounts are available for students and concession card holders. Click here for the membership form.
